To expand the impacts of our innovations, we partnered with the Jaipur Rugs Foundation to connect to diverse artisan communities. Working on the vision of social development and entrepreneurship through a keen focus on well-being and economic welfare, the non-profit organization works to boost engagement with traditional handicrafts and transform the lives of underprivileged artisans. Our collaboration was driven by the foundation’s dedication to transforming the Indian rural landscape by initiating strategies for grassroots development. Their contributions have extended to states such as Bihar, Rajasthan, Jharkhand, and Uttar Pradesh.

At the core of the Jaipur Rugs Foundation is the desire to incentivize twenty-first-century consumers to understand the socio-cultural as well as environmental efficacy of traditional handicrafts. By providing a platform to sell their goods, such as rugs produced by Jaipur artisans, the organization enables the social mobility of these communities. Each commodity purchased via their platform helps provide sustainable livelihoods for craftspersons along with enabling them to not only keep their art alive but proliferate its reach to global audiences.
